How to play Spider Solitaire
The goal is to clear every card by building runs from King down to Ace in a single suit. When a full King-to-Ace run forms in one column it is removed automatically. When you run out of moves, deal a new row from the stock in the corner.

Tips & strategy
- Empty a column whenever you can. An open column is the most valuable space on the board because any card or run can move into it.
- Build in suit wherever possible. Mixed-suit stacks block themselves, and only same-suit runs lift off when complete.
- Do not deal from the stock until you have made every move available. Each deal drops a card on every column and can bury cards you needed.
- Uncover face-down cards early. The sooner a column is flipped, the more choices you have later.
- Plan one move ahead before you commit, because Spider rarely lets you undo a bad chain cleanly.
- Start on one suit if you are new. A single-suit deal teaches the rhythm before you take on the two and four suit games.
